2)
Riders are responsible for checking their own times.
Mistakes
happen, people have terrible hand writing. It is your
responsibility to review your time card to help catch
these things. Bring a watch. Sync it with the master clock.
Look at your card to see what is being written at each
checkpoint. Let the checkpoint know if you see an error.
Fix the error. Make sure your card is legible so the times
don't get messed up when loaded in the CPU. If their is
an error let the people at the CPU know when you hand
in your card. If you do not let us know about an error
prior to the final tally you are SOL. Sorry.
3)
Riders must go through every checkpoint for their division
and follow the marked course.
Failure
to go through every checkpoint or get caught shortcutting
course (even un-timed sections) will result in a Did Not
Finish. Period.
4)
Riders must wear a helmet and be self sufficient.
Wear
a helmet and any other protective gear that you feel is
most appropriate for the situation. Experts are strongly
encouraged to wear full pads for the last downhill.
Being
self sufficient means that you are on your own while out
on course, don't rely on the kindness of a stranger to
have a spare tube, or a pump, or an energy bar, or spare
water, or a coat if it starts snowing, or a band-aid,
or a...... You get the point. Volunteers on course try
to help out where they can but you can't rely on that.

We reserve the right to modify or add to this list as
time goes on and new situations arise that require the
creation of new rules. Last year we had no rules.
