Intro: In partnership with the White Pine Chamber of Commerce and the City of Ely, a six foot wide asphalt path will soon be constructed that connects the White Pine Public Museum and the Nevada Northern Railway Museum. This pedestrian pathway was approved for funding through the Recreation Trails Program in 2004 and is scheduled for completion fall of 2006.

Volunteers Needed! In order for this project to be a success volunteers and donations will be needed! Donations needed include fencing and landscaping materials as well as cash contributions. Great news! Working with the City of Ely we 
have finally approved the final alignment and 
are ready to move forward. The project has 
been bid on and we are waiting to see how 
that turns out.  We are hoping to break ground 
this June!
